1st Visit

What to Expect

Most visits begin with a detailed assessment of your past and current health history, your dietary and lifestyle practices, and other factors related to your health issues. With your involvement, we develop an integrated health program TOGETHER that addresses your specific needs, looking at the whole person, not the disease.

First Visit Preparation

Some helpful information to have ready for Dr. Rodriguez might be:

  • How long have you had this condition?
  • How severe is this condition (1-10)?
  • What is your diet?
  • Medical intervention (surgery, name of medication, strength, and dosing, etc…)
  • Recent lab work or imaging reports

Initial consultations can range from 1/2 hour to 1 1/2 hours depending upon the complexity of the condition for which you are seeking assistance.  Be prepared for 1 1/2 hour visit for chronic conditions or prevention appointments.  For simple cold/flu or recent injuries or acupuncture, a brief visit of 1/2 hour usually would be sufficient.  When calling and setting your appointments, request the length of visit you would prefer.  Dr. Rodriguez is extremely thorough and may ask for additional labwork.  Once all information is gathered a very specific and individual protocol will be created with you in mind.  Integrative medicine as well as traditional or natural medicine may be prescribed.

Follow up visits

Expect to come back for a follow up visit within two weeks to a month for reevaluation of the treatment protocols.  Follow up visits can be from 15 minutes to 1/2 hour to 1 hour depending on your needs.  Dr. Rodriguez will work with you to ensure the treatment protocols are moving you towards your health goal as quickly and as cost effective as possible.  The goal is to improve health, not to spend your money for you.  Almost always, there is significant improvement within two to three visits.  During the follow up, Dr. Rodriguez will re-evaluate the treatment selected, the improvement of the condition, and will note the other beneficial effects of improving your health.

"Invest a year with me, I will teach you how to care for yourself and your particular health needs.  You won't be disappointed!" - Dr. Yolanda Rodriguez

A Visionary Approach to Medicine

"Everything we need to survive on this Earth has been placed here for us to utilize, respect, and nurture."-Dr. Yolanda Rodriguez

Placing the needs of people, and the preservation of the planet before the need for profit has always been Dr. Rodriguez's goal to treatment.  She has worked extensively in sharpening her skills of observation to evaluate each individual's health.  She uses her senses and experiences in a way that allows her to understand not only the physical ailment but the ailments of the Spirit as well.

"My Grandmother who learned from her Grandmother and taught my mother who in turn taught me how to evaluate a person's health made me who I am.  Based on the senses of observation, smell, listening, taste, and touch, this method of evaluation has proven to be invaluable to me and my clients.  There are no words to describe the depth of appreciation I have for those that have taught me along the way." - Yolanda Rodriguez
